Empowered Movement for Pain: A Free Drop-in Session for Patients
Join Dena Saedi, Pain Specialist, Yoga Therapist, and Wellness Coach in a virtual, 60-minute mind-body movement class to practice and deepen somatic skills promoting mind-body wellness and safety. Together we will cultivate body awareness through gentle movement and conscious breathing with reminders of pain reprocessing principles throughout. This class is an opportunity to bring your body more tangibly into the brain rewiring process and perhaps discover fresh ways to increase positive emotional states.
You will begin and end seated in a chair. You will perform movements on your back, so please be prepared to make your way to a comfortable supine position. If you are unable to get onto your back, there will always be modifications offered to you, such as visualizing movement and following along with breathing and imagery practices.
